AI coaching
"You died too much, ward more" is not coaching. Rankup's reports are generated in two stages: deterministic analysis of your Riot match data first, AI explanation second. If the first stage cannot prove it, the second stage is not allowed to say it.
Before a single sentence of coaching is generated, Rankup computes metrics directly from Riot match and timeline data: deaths by game phase, CS at fixed timestamps, objective participation windows, ward placement quality, recall timing. The AI receives only these computed metrics and is instructed to explain them — never to add claims of its own.
Riot timelines do not capture everything. When the data needed for a conclusion is missing — no timeline, no ward locations, no position frames — the report says so and lowers its confidence instead of filling the gap with plausible-sounding text.
Rather than a wall of suggestions, each analysis selects the single mistake with the highest measured cost, scored by objective impact, timing near dragon and baron windows, repetition across games, and game phase. You get the evidence, the timestamp where available, why it mattered, and the correction.
The coaching engine reads your ranked tier. Fundamentals for Iron and Bronze; objective setup and wave management for Silver and Gold; tempo, side-lane assignments, and sequencing for Platinum through Master. A Master+ player is never told to simply farm more — CS deficits at that level are explained through tempo and tradeoffs.
It is built not to. The AI prompt contains only metrics computed from your match and timeline, along with explicit instructions to avoid claims the data cannot support and to state uncertainty when data is missing.
Only when you click Analyze on a match. Rankup never starts AI analysis automatically.
No. Rankup analyzes finished matches only. There is no overlay, no scripting, no live game data, and no in-game assistance of any kind.
Riot password or client login is never requested.
