Top lane coaching

League of Legends top lane match analysis and AI coaching

Top lane is an island where wave state, Teleport, and matchup knowledge decide whether your lead becomes map pressure. RankupGG reads your public Riot match and timeline data and grades the top-lane decisions that matter — how you managed the wave, when you used Teleport, which trades you took, and how you entered teamfights — with an AI coach that explains the evidence for your rank.

What RankupGG grades for top games

Every finding below is computed from public Riot match and timeline data. You pick the match and start the analysis manually; the AI coach only explains the deterministic evidence — it never invents events.

Wave state

The report reconstructs the wave from CS and timeline events so freezes, crashes, and slow pushes are evaluated by what they enabled — a reset, a roam, or a dive — rather than by CS count alone.

Side-lane pressure and Teleport timing

Your Teleport uses are placed on the timeline against objectives and crashed waves, showing whether you traded side pressure for a fight that mattered or burned Teleport on a low-value play.

Matchup trade windows

Trades are framed around the matchup and your level and cooldown advantages, so the report flags trades taken into a losing window and praises ones that respected your champion's spikes.

Flank and teamfight entry

How you entered fights — flank, front line, or split — is traced from the timeline alongside enemy jungler tracking, showing entries that arrived too early or too late to matter.

Frequently asked questions

Does it understand my matchup?

Coaching is champion- and role-aware, so trades and wave decisions are framed around the champion you played and the lane you were in, not generic top-lane advice.

How does it grade Teleport?

Teleport uses are placed on the timeline against objectives and wave state, so the report shows whether each Teleport bought real pressure or was spent on a low-value play.
